Vancouver went from light sweaters and no jacket to pulling out the Goose jacket REAL QUICK. The nice thing about owning a really warm jacket like my Savona bomber is that it keeps me warm enough that I can wear just an indoor shirt underneath and not worry about freezing to death when I’m outside. I’m actually really glad I got the green coloured Savona rather than sticking with the norm and getting black. Throughout the last few years I’ve pretty much converted my entire closet to a neutral / black and white palette so even though this jacket is green it still goes with most of the items in my wardrobe. Not to mention the jacket is a nice army green which I think is actually quite a versatile colour as it’s muted enough to almost be considered a “neutral” colour.

I didn’t think I would get so invested in bombers again but I’ve pretty much been living in them this season. The Kanaka bomber from Aritzia is another one I’ve been frequenting lately. As I’ve been pretty much only going to three places lately (school, work, gym) it’s been the perfect jacket to throw over any casual outfit.

I paired the jacket with a thin black turtleneck and my mid-rise Rocket Ventanas. The other trend that I’ve been guilty of repeating over and over again lately is the tight turtlenecks. I’m actually OBSESSED because they’re so easy to wear and style. Not to mention warm and comfortable too. Can’t believe I’ve never owned any before this season. The Huet shirt from Aritzia has been my favourite one so far.

What pieces have you been consistently reaching for this season?

More soon,
